Haygrove Ltd supply complex projects, globally, of polytunnel components and technology. The supply chain considers many factors into sourcing the supply chain route to be best in class in terms of quality of product and service. We are a Service and Supply Chain team that values our customers internally and externally whilst bringing efficiency and energy. Our main UK distribution warehouse in Herefordshire holds an average of £3m+ stock, to consolidate and distribute products whilst also working in partnership with manufacturers to supply parts directly in the UK and beyond to meet our project deadlines.

**Key accountabilities of the role**
- An integrated role which works alongside and supports all business departments.
- To review Trade Compliance legislation relevant to Haygrove (product, sales, and supply chain movements). Translate for easy digestion by other teams and work together with those teams to review, modify and/or implement new processes and procedures to enable complaint trade.
- To investigate where international trade can open opportunities for Haygrove and our end customers.
- To keep abreast and educated of new formalities and international trade restrictions and opportunities to promote within the business.
- Using knowledge of commodity duty and preferences, assist in supporting supplier strategies and 3rd party handling.

**Principle responsibilities**
- New country investigation - to present an initial overview and assist in set up of new country supply chain and goods movements.
- Educating the team on and undertaking routine audit for Origin and Preference, commodity definition and tariff classification.
- Educating Procurement team to introduce new process and procedures required to enable movement of products through import and export processes dependant on sourcing and sales region barriers.
- Understand specific customs rulings in place, e.g. for complete structures. Educate operational teams on how they need to be managed to be shipped/processed to fulfil requirements of rulings and periodically audit the process.
- Bio security measures in place for loading destination and sales destination
- Finding suitable solutions for OPS machinery movements, educating Ops manager and Logistics team on process and procedures for movement of machinery to move compliantly.
- Support and work with Export & Logistics manager to enrol **new **sales regions and set out documentation requirements and processes to enable compliant export and customer import.
- Support and work with Export & Logistics manager to enrol **new** direct supplier processes and formalities.
- Working with Finance team on areas such as Letter of Credit terms to protect Haygrove and enable compliant transactions that can be achieved.
- Work with external trade and compliance bodies to keep abreast of global legislations and what they mean to Haygrove.
- Work with HMRC, brokers, border control where appropriate to lead any investigations.
- Collaborating with the General Manager and Supply Chain and Sourcing Manager to investigate areas that grow the business in terms of sales and supply longer term. Understanding the barriers and looking for ways of working around these, also reviewing where more favourable routes to market may lie withing the Global Haygrove sourcing strategies.
