Massage/ Complementary Therapist

Blossom Massage is an up and coming business that is scaling to become well known within the Pontypool community.

Though we hire on attitude and not skill, ideally we are looking for someone that who:

- Can deliver outstanding massages to our clients, confidence in your massage skill is appealing but thorough training is available if you are willing to learn and have the correct attitude.
- Physically fit and able to massage for at least 5 hours a shift.
- Enjoys working alone and part time of a team.
- Willing to attend training session with the owner to ensure all therapists at Blossom Massage work at the same standard.
- Is at least Level 3 qualified in massage and is able to cover a range of different massage and/or complementary therapy treatments. These include but not limited to deep tissue massage, Swedish, hot stone, pregnancy, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, cupping, reflexology, head & foot massages.
- Sports massage is a bonus (not essential)
- Qualified and able to perform facials (deseriable)
- Has a positive and kind attitude, great people skills, is trustworthy and has a strong work ethic.
- Ideally at least 1/2 years experience working in a similar environment though we are open to less if you have the right attitude.

**MAIN DUTIES**
- Greeting your clients by name on arrival with a positive attitude and warm welcome.
- Discussing the clients consultation forms with them. Making sure that we have all information regarding health status and personal information and making any notes needed.
- Explaining the length of treatment, what's involved, listening and understanding what they want from the treatment and how you will tailor it to their need.
- Ensuring a professional, caring service that will show off your talent and skills and get the clients rebooking with you again.
- Come up with a treatment plan and discuss next steps/aftercare advice with every client.
- Keeping a record of information for every treatment you've done.
- Replace bed sheets, set up for next treatment and clean equipment in between appointments to keep things running smoothly for other therapists.
- Hitting targets

1) 15 minute call to discuss suitability to role

2) Invite to studio to perform a 30 minute massage in a supportive and relaxed setting

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
