We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy clinic in Leeds, West Yorkshire as a Clinical Trial Assistant.  You will need to have a BSc (Biomedical Sciences) in a scientific field or substantial experience in a relevant field (healthcare, laboratory assistance, phlebotomy etc.).

The team needs someone with a real “can-do” attitude, an ability to communicate on all levels and pay attention to the details.

**Focus of the Role**

To carry out clinical trial procedures and prioritise patient safety in adherence with ICH-GCP

**Responsibilities Include**
- Clinical activities ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and patients
- Attendance of study related meetings
- Patient and customer care
- Laboratory activities that will include specimen handling
- Pharmaceutical duties
- Data management
- Patient recruitment assistance and monitoring

**Physical, Work Environment and Travel Demands**
- Potentially long periods standing.
- Dealing with bodily fluids.
- Long periods looking at a computer screen.
- Meeting deadlines and working within strict timelines.
- Ability to travel between sites if required.
- Ability to travel to national/international meetings

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
- healthcare/support work: 1 year (preferred)
- laboratory assistance: 1 year (preferred)
