We're a well-established manufacturing company in Bolton looking for an ambitious **EHS Officer** to join us in a truly unique role. This isn’t a box-ticking compliance job - this is about _ownership_, _impact_ and _growth_.

What’s the opportunity?

You’ll be given the freedom to take the lead across our manufacturing site - building relationships, driving improvements, and embedding a culture of safety from the shop floor to the boardroom. If you want to make a difference, you’ll have all the support you need.

For the right person, this could develop into a **managerial role** - with structured training and mentoring to help you step up when the time’s right.

What you'll be doing:

- Leading on **risk assessments**, **COSHH**, and all EHS responsibilities
- Building strong relationships across teams to embed a proactive safety culture
- Working directly with shop floor teams to spot improvements and solve problems
- Supporting strategic health & safety planning while staying hands-on
- Championing a collaborative, people-first approach to health and safety

What we're looking for:

- NEBOSH qualified, with solid understanding of EHS best practice
- Confident communicator who builds rapport naturally
- Hands-on mindset - comfortable on the shop floor as well as in meetings
- Loyal, hardworking and committed to building a long-term career
- Experience or awareness of **manufacturing or engineering environments** preferred
- Someone who sees the bigger picture and takes pride in making things better
