£80,000 - £100,000 + excellent bonus scheme

A professional services business require a Cloud DevOps and SRE Lead as part of a major transformation programme. The Cloud DevOps and SRE Lead will be aligned to the hybrid AWS environment with accountability for the migration from on-premise data centresinto AWS, Leveraging the latest technologies to deliver a dynamically scalable platform.

This role will lead a small team of Cloud DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers to deliver the migration of the client facing systems in the On-Premise data centres to AWS as part of the strategic transformation programme.

Working in a regulated environment you will provide technical leadership, direction and strategy aligned to the business objectives, architecting and implementing operating processes to ensure performance, capacity and availability are managed effectivelyto exceed business objectives

Cloud DevOps & SRE Lead experience required:

- Experience of working within a medium / large organisation (ideally regulated)
- Expert level experience the technologies within the scope of the team:

- AWS
- ECS
- Lambda
- Fargate
- Experience of establishing an enterprise class model for operating and maintaining mission critical platforms
- An analytical approach with the ability to preempt potential problems and identify inefficiencies
- Managing workloads, assigning tasks against resource capacity and business priorities
- Strong communication skills both within the team and to external stakeholders

The business operates in a true hybrid fashion. The role is mainly remote based with occasion travel to the office which will be reimbursed.
