About the business/Role:
A regional award-winning law firm based with offices throughout the region are looking for a Private client fee earner. This opportunity is would suit an experienced private client professional with experience managing a mixed caseload consisting of both wills, LPA's and probate matters.
We are looking for someone self-motivated, commercially minded and commercially astute, a team player who has excellent communication skills.
Essential skills
- Experience in wills, trusts, probate and powers of attorney
- Knowledge of the relevant reliefs and tax bands, particularly concerning IHT and CGT
- Experience in drafting suitable wills and trusts
- Experience as a fee earner
- The ability to work well in a team and on your own
- Excellent client handling skills
- Able to organise time and meet set deadlines
- Complying with precedents, letters or documents on the case management system
- Knowledge of the Family Procedure Rules
- The ability to act for claimants, defendants, petitioners, respondents and applicants. with an understanding of litigation in general
- The ability to be forward-thinking and highly motivated
- Computer skills and an eye for detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Genuine interest in all aspects of private client law
