**Tradebe Healthcare require a Van Driver for our Rochester site.**

**Pay and Benefits**:

- £23,705.96 p/a.
- Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week.
- 25 Days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays.
- Company pension and flexible benefits.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all waste collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures (including using PDA) and legislation to ensure all revenue is captured
- To collect Customer’s waste in a safe and professional manner
- To complete all work-related paperwork in full and hand in at the end of the shift
- To carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- To drive in compliance with the Highway Code and ADR law
- To report vehicle defects to your line manager/site management
- To load and unload waste from company vehicles, including wheeled containers and/or primary packaging’s and to do this in line with company procedures & polices

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience of driving 3.5t vans with Category B on UK licence
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills
- Very good knowledge road traffic laws and UK road networks
- ADR 6.2 packages (training can be given)

**Desirable Skills**:

- Knowledge of NHS contracts (desirable)
- Experience of handling clinical and hazardous waste
- Use of hand-held devices (PDA)

This is a great opportunity for a hardworking van driver to join a growing business and once fully competent and fully ADR qualified, there may be potential for future LGV training.
