**£28,000 - £35,000**

Our client is a specialist sub-contract manufacturer of high volume, precision brass turned parts, based in central Birmingham. A B2B supplier, components are manufactured to specific customer drawings.

**Job description**:
The Technical Sales Engineers role is office-based working from their Birmingham facility.

Whilst the primary duties are to manage customer accounts through direct contact, the role has many other facets such as working with the production team to achieve delivery schedules, helping with quality issues, booking transportation of goods, invoicingand quoting new business. All of which are focussed on the customer receiving quality goods on time in full.

**Role also includes**:

- Completion of monthly reporting activities
- Conduct negotiations and presentations in a professional manner and determine price strategies for each customer
- Assess enquiries and prepare quotations, letters and other documents relating to the promotion of the company
- Achievement of sales revenue targets and maximising revenue
- New business generation - Prospecting and developing new business
- Account management - Protection and expansion of existing accounts through the development of strong relationship using a consultative approach
- Negotiating long-term price agreements and contract terms to meet customer and the company’s needs
- Work alongside other departments to achieve delivery performance and quality KPIs
- Supporting other members of the sales team with expediting, documentation and order processing
- Training will be provided where needed.
