?Here is a new opportunity to join a great local employer who is looking to hire the services of an ambitious, articulate individual as their Operations Co-ordinator.

The main purpose of the role is: To support the General Manager with booking and managing logistics for European outdoor events. Tasks include the overall coordination of events from start to finish covering the booking of travel arrangements, negotiationwith suppliers, the preparation of check lists through to the evaluation of events and recommendations in relation to making improvements where necessary.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Sourcing and booking hotels (including menu choices), ferry crossings, Eurostar, local vehicle hire etc.
- Negotiating with suppliers to get best price and value for money at the same time as building long term relationships with them
- Creating rooming lists for each group and sending/updating suppliers
- Checking invoices for all elements of the trip and passing to accounts department for payment
- Creating and updating planning sheets for each trip
- Providing suppliers with regular updates regarding each trip, sending them all necessary information
- Inform other areas of the office about relevant changes/updates to plans
- Prepare trip information for crew
- Monitor client feedback regarding services and ensure suppliers are correcting mistakes / improving services.

**Skills and Experiences our client are looking for**:

- Speak fluent French (essential)
- Work accurately and to deadlines
- Multi-task well under pressure
- Methodical, organised approach to work with good time management
- Build good working relationships
- Motivated and enthusiastic person able to work independently
- Demonstrate excellent use of Microsoft Office
- Travel or Adventure Industry experience highly valuable but not essential
