Appointed by a long-standing client, we are recruiting for a talented Accounts Payable professional to undertake the newly created role of Senior Accounts Payable Clerk within this market leading, high growth business in the service sector. Based in modernoffices in Warrington, my client has a culture that is supportive, fast-paced, sociable, and rewarding. Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, duties include:

- Supervise and develop team of Accounts Payable Clerks
- Processing of supplier Invoices on time
- Liaise with suppliers on resolving queries and issues
- Payment runs to suppliers
- Reconcile supplier statements to AP ledger
- AP reporting of overdue
- Liaise internally to resolve unposted/ blocked invoices
- Find ways to improve the PO to Pay process
- Responsible for the delivery of multiple monthly bank reconciliations.
- Regular communication with wider finance function and credit teams to resolve queries.
- Identify risk areas and report promptly to the Financial Operations Manager
