Quantity Surveyor

**Quantity Surveyor (water/ wastewater)**

Location**:Portland, Dorset.** (Other locations available: Dumfries, Manningtree, Nottingham or Heathfield in Sussex).

Salary**:50-60k**

The role involves:

- significant project planning,
- customer liaison,
- leadership and good management of engineering project teams including project,
- installation engineers installing new wastewater equipment,
- commercial reviews and agree terms for all new capital projects,
- lead commercial reviews and agree terms for all new capital projects,
- assist with ensuring quotations are delivered within contractual time constraints, producing solutions for customers ensuring maximum profits are maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Current valid driving license.
- Able to work outside on sites which relate to wastewater.
- Able to carry out work tasks that involve physical strength, stamina, standing, kneeling or crouching.
- Occasional overnight stays may be required.
- Experience in commercial negotiations.
- Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project as a minimum.

Qualifications:

- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or an engineering discipline.
- Operating GANNT charts
- Experience working with engineering contracts, preferably under NEC3 & NEC4
