Position Summary
We are currently seeking Skilled Preppers to undertake masking and initial prep on grab rails to work as part of a small team undertaking the interior re-fresh of Rolling Stock Carriages. This is a 24 week contract, based near Ashford, Kent
Person Profile/Experience:
You will hold a minimum of 2 years' experience in undertaking the strip and prep of vehicles, ideally within the Rail Industry, although we will consider those that hold the pre-requisite skills and experience in the prep and painting of large vehicles suchas HGV's, Aircraft or Mobile Plant
You will be flexible in your approach to work
Key Desirable Criteria:
Previous/Current Operational experience in the panel prep and painting of Rail/Rolling Stock interiors
Fit and Healthy
Able to multi-task and make quick decisions for short notice changes to workloads
Ability to work independently and on own initiative
Safety conscious
Flexible attitude to working hours
Must be able to pass a Safety Critical Drugs & Alcohol and Medical Test
