Moretons Investments is an independent property investment and development company located in Brighton, East Sussex. We purchase, develop, and manage a wide range of commercial and residential properties, providing high-quality business premises and living space to clients throughout the South of England. We are seeking a Receptionist with a friendly and professional approach to join our team
The receptionist /administrator will be the front-of-house contact; in charge of maintaining the reception/office area, ordering office supplies, welcoming visitors, and assisting a small team of property managers with administration duties.
**The role includes -**
- Answering calls in a friendly manner and transferring swiftly and correctly.
- Taking concise messages and passing to relevant employees promptly.
- Making a lasting impression, visitors should be welcomed and dealt with professionally.
- Handling of key loans for viewings/contractors and keeping careful records of these transactions
- Receiving post and passing on to relevant employees
- Providing general admin/secretarial support to all departments
- Effectively managing, filing & archiving of files
- Assisting with typing up property inspections and inventory reports.
- Generating works orders & liaising with contractors
- Printing and scanning documents
- Some office management duties are required. The office space should be kept tidy and well-stocked at all times.
**About you -**
You will hold excellent customer service skills & a confident telephone manner. You’re self-motivated with keen attention to detail, you’re comfortable working to deadlines, hold a professional outlook, and remain calm under pressure. Although this role is a junior position, some reception and administration experience is required, if you’ve gained this experience in the property realm, even better You will be proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, as you’ll need to use these daily.
Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.
