FreightForce require a Class 1 night shunter driver to work at our clients location based in Beccles.

The role includes constantly moving, dropping, swapping trailers while keeping an eye on quality control. This includes reporting defects and damages of trailers while also making sure the trailers are clean and tidy. Securing loads using straps and preparing trailers to be loaded safely is of high importance and a continuous part of the role.

You would be reporting to FreightForce Manager on site and relaying information to the traffic Planners in Beccles and Norwich. You will be tasked to ensure paperwork is correct and ready for the other collecting drivers.

You will be required to carry out and record daily checks of all trailers and vehicles

Times are Monday to Friday 17:00 to around 05:00 each night with a 1 hour unpaid break.

Pay: £770.00 per week
