Apprentice Welder

To excel in this role, you will be required to be willing to undertake the necessary training and have a willingness to learn both practical skills and metalworking techniques.

**Key Responsibilities will be**:

- Manufacture collars for pile reinforcement.
- Repair augers so they are fit for purpose and within the allowed tolerances.
- Adapt augers as required for changing ground conditions.
- Understand and comply with the Group Health and Safety Policy.
- Undertake welding repairs on plant machines, cabins and other equipment as required.
- Assist in the general day to day duties in the yard when required.
- Keep workshop area tidy.

**Job requirements**:

- Be willing to work towards achieving a Welding & Fabrication qualification.
- Have sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Be physically fit due to the demands of the role.
- Possess good communication skills.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as be a team player.
- A full UK driving license would be preferable.
- Be a good organiser, with the ability to prioritise.
- Relevant CSCS cards would be desirable.
- Abrasive wheels certificate would be desirable.
