**CMS Edinburgh - Associate/ Senior Associate (Equity Capital Markets)**

We are looking for an Associate/ Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Corporate team in Edinburgh. We are particularly interested in those with experience in Equity capital markets transactions.

**About the Role**

CMS's corporate team in Edinburgh has grown over the past few years and is looking to bring in talented individuals at all levels to support future growth opportunities across all areas of its practice. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and supportiveteam, allowing individuals to learn and grow. We encourage the adoption of technology and new ways of working. Although the current team is principally based in Edinburgh, we work with colleagues across the UK to deliver transactions.
- Private and public M&A
- PE and early stage VC financings
- Public company reporting
- Providing efficient professional support to partners
- Developing professional client relationships
- Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising the profile of the firm
- Involvement in marketing and client events
- Managing and supervising the work of others including trainees

**About You**
You should ideally have experience advising issuers on equity capital markets transactions in the UK. You should have excellent drafting and project management skills. You will have the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice. Due to the rolebeing client facing you will need to have sound judgement and good interpersonal and consultancy skills.
You will be focused on delivering first-class client service and will relish the opportunity to work alongside highly-motivated but supportive colleagues who will help you to succeed. You will be excited by the career development opportunities that the teamis uniquely placed in the market to offer.
To meet the needs of the role, you will have an appropriate level of post-qualification experience (we anticipate a minimum of 4yrs PQE) in a leading law firm, but are flexible for the right individual.
