Store Planner

The Stores planner will be responsible for making key decisions throughout the planning process, communicating closely with Supervisors and Team Leads. The role will liaise daily with a wide range of departments and internal stakeholders to ensure timely details of all material requirements.
Collaborating internally with Manufacturing, Assembly and key Custom Care stakeholders the Stores Planner will be responsible for investigating and reprioritising any missed target dates and co-ordinating a solution if required.
**The Stores Planner will also analyse open transport tasks and material requisitions, ensuring IFS information reflects the current state.**

**Job Criteria**:
**Essential Criteria**:
- Must have at least 1 year’s material planning experience within a Stores or manufacturing environment
- Ability to understand department KPI’s and work to help deliver the objectives of the dept.
- Demonstrate experience of IFS or other ERP software
- PC literate - proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills
- Work with a sense or urgency to support the high pace demands of the aftersales market
- Strong Attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills

- Enthusiastic, energetic self-starter able to work on own initiative

**Desirable Criteria**:
- Experience of IFS Apps 9.
- Good Commercial Awareness
**Job Duties**:
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with all internal and external suppliers to ensure Custom Care are valued as a core customer to them.
- Ensure data integrity (supplier pricing, planning data, etc.) within the company’s ERP system at all times.
- Liaise with Planning and Assembly Planning to receive up-to
- date material requirements.
- Reflect Assembly requirements and target dates within WMTP.
- Group Assembly picking requirements, by shop order number.
- Co-ordinate with Picking Lead/Goods-Out Supervisor to arrange grouped dispatch of picklists.
- Investigate and reprioritise any missed target dates or picking lines status.
- Customer Order Picking Ensure Customer Order picking requests are completed as per Custom Care schedule.
- Flag requests that have not been completed as per target and co-ordinate resolution.
- Liaise with Custom Care stakeholders to gain visibility of upcoming demand, containers.
- Where suitable, release picking ahead of requirement date - pre pick large orders.
- Transport Tasks / Material Requisitions.
- Analyse open Transport Tasks and Material Requisitions.
- Co-ordinate with Stores Supervisors/Team Leads, ensuring all requests are processed.
- Ensure IFS information reflects the current state - status, location, and quantity.
- Zero Picked Parts.
- Provide information to Materials Manager and Goods-Out Supervisor, raising common/open issues.
- Support the creation of user guides for tasks within the Stores Planner role.
- Any other ad hoc duties.
