**Technical Co-ordinator - Residential Developer - Brentwood**
**£50,000 + package**
We are currently working with a leading residential developer, who have tasked us with helping them to attract, and recruit, a technical coordinator, to come and join their skilled and experienced technical team based out of their Essex office.
They have developed an excellent reputation for delivering thoughtfully design led projects at prime locations and highlight an approach that emphasis the quality of the product over quantity. The company is very well resourced and highlight their professionaland friendly culture.
They have just acquired a good financial backing to acquire more land and in need of a technical coordinator. The region they operate on would be prestigious and upcoming developments covering the Essex, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas.
They are looking for someone who is ambitious and driven, and wants to help the company complete exciting new developments, in what is a thriving area for our client. Our client is ideally looking to bring in someone with experience of coordinating designbriefs on residential developments, and helping to manage the design through the build process. Our client is happy to consider individuals from either an architectural practice wanting to work client side.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting in appointing and managing a team of external design consultants.
- Offer expertise and guidance in coordinating the design brief for the external consultants.
- Organise briefings and update reports from the design team on the progress of the project.
- Your involvement will begin right from the land buying and tendering stage, providing input and guidance on behalf of the technical team.
- Liaise with internal teams (Estimating, Surveying, Buying, Sales, Marketing and Construction), as well as co-ordinate with external authorities to ensure that the design meets the brief and meets all approvals, licences and agreements.
- Be on hand to provide assistance and expertise with any issues that arise relating to the technical side of the project.
- Proactively recommending technical and design solutions with regards to products, detailing and methodology
