Marketing Assistant

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Head Office Team.

This amazing new vacancy centres around:

- Updating the used vehicle marketing for the Pentagon Motor Group website and other digital channels.
- Providing administrative assistance to the Used Vehicle Marketing Manager and Head of Marketing.
- Providing a high level of customer service and maintaining working relationships with enthusiasm.
- Assisting with developing the company website and the department’s best practice.

**What will you be doing?**
- Updating the company’s used vehicle stock and relative used vehicle marketing on company websites and other digital channels.
- Keeping updated with new vehicle models, competitors and recent changes/improvements by using product bulletins, technical magazines, on-line resources and training courses.
- Assisting with updating the company website with current information, stock, opening hours, contact details and used offers.
- Researching and investigating new ideas or developments in technology which could make tasks and procedures more efficient.
- Building rapport and strong inter-departmental relationships and paying close attention to those within the process of selling.
- Considering legislation and trade practices which include the automotive industry such as advertising rules and data protection.
- Completing required documentation and providing feedback to assist with the continuous improvement of the department and company.
- Handling all customer communications, whether verbal or written, in a professional, courteous and prompt manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Supporting team members to meet their required objectives.

The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 0830am - 1700pm. There may be some requirement to work on a Saturday and if so time will be given back in lieu.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong IT skills including experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Internet.
- The ability to work to a very high level of accuracy and a strong focus on quality.

- A team player mentality.

A general knowledge of makes/models of cars and vans would be advantageous for this role as well as experience using Kerridge.
