**Up to £45k DOE | Rapid progression to PM | Generous Benefits** Are you looking for a new challenge, to join an established and highly successful Civil Engineering Contractor located in the Southwest?A suitably experienced **Sub Agent** is required to join an agile, self-delivery Civil Engineering contractor based in the Southwest of England with skilled, knowledgeable, trained, and experienced staff with the right attitude to deliver projects safely, of the right quality, and completed on time. Working as part of the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for, commercially and technically, the delivery and construction of £10k to £1.5m size projects. **Sub Agent responsibilities include: -** - Oversee and manage the delivery of projects, reporting directly to a Contract Manager. Effectively communicate with the working Site Manager and Site Engineer, clients, and designers to ensure the successful delivery on time and within budget. - Have overall responsibility for the day-to-day planning of projects and the production and implementation of construction programmes in line with construction methodologies and resources. - Manage best value project procurement, take-offs, materials, plant, and subcontracts. - Manage the supply chain and direct workforce to work efficiently, and maintain the highest standards for Health and Safety, Environment and quality. - Ensure compliance of a project with the Business Management System and company procedures. - Identify and manage the temporary works requirements of the project, the production and adherence of Quality documents, Construction Phase Plans, Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Manage notices, permissions, and licences. - Manage project closeout, as-built drawings, and information for the health and safety file. **Sub Agent requirements include: -** - An industry applicable HNC/B.Eng or NVQ equivalent - IOSH or CITB 2/5 Day SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS card. - Full Driving Licence - Working knowledge of Microsoft packages required. - Experience with programme software is preferable but not essential. - Demonstrable relevant experience. - Strong team player but also able to work as an individual - Ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines. - Possess a "can do" attitude and provide support to other members of the team as required **Benefits for the Sub Agent: -** Along with joining a company that prides itself on the values of respect, integrity, honesty, quality and innovation, support our purpose to become the Southwest regional civil engineering contractor of choice.
