A specialist designer & manufacturer of Consumer Electronics are currently on the lookout for an expert Mechanical Design Engineer to help on a part-time 3-month project.

The project is OUTSIDE IR35 and requires 3 days a week work all onsite in North London.

**The Company**

A growing start-up working on next generation consumer electronics products for the leisure and activities sector.

**Senior Mechanical Engineer**

As a Senior and Specialised Engineer, you will be responsible to lead a specific CAD related project as well as helping with the guidance of new and existing product development. You shall be working closely with a number of other Mechanical, Electronicsand Software Engineers.

The main requirements include:
- Strong injection mould background and good contact with potential manufacturer/tool makers to get DfM and tool sign off as quickly as possible.
- Part Validation based on first of tools.
- Experience with IP rated enclosure,
- Understanding of constraints working with Electronics and RF products.
- Very short delivery timeline so directly applicable experience is very important.
- Experience in consumer electronics would be a plus

My client also acknowledge experience in other areas of Mechanical design. The position is also looking for someone who can work part-time for 3 days per week and 100% onsite in London.
