Location: Southampton ( hybrid)

Length: 6 months initially

The Managed Land Solution (MLS) Programme is a critical project of strategic importance to the business. We are aiming to deploy our MLS platform to a prestigious client in the middle east digital Land meeting their objectives on time and in full.

**The MLS platform will enable the client to**:

- Register both land and property details
- Rapidly transform deeds into titles
- Maintain information on registered land and properties
- Provide information and value-added services
- Enhance the user experience for land administration practitioners, stakeholders, and customers.

**Description of Accountabilities**

As Programme Director you will be the client facing lead, working a blend of remote and in country (approx. 3 weeks in 6 in the Middle East), as well as directing and leading our Project Managers and Implementation managers as part of a consortium of deliveryteams.

You will ensure that project execution plans are established and executed by your Project Managers and oversee the activities of the different project workstreams that work towards achieving a common purpose.

The role will own the relationship with the client and our partners Programme Management team, the Sponsor and delivery leads to keep all plans aligned to agreed Programme milestones.

Other responsibilities also include working closely with the Product Owner and C-Level Leadership roles within the impacted areas to ensure change management activities are and continue to be aligned to business priorities, as well as executed within thecontext of the wider organisational change context.

**Dimensions**

Carry out essential tasks to ensure the programme can meets its key deliverables such as:

- Client facing primary point of contact for all Programme delivery matters
- Chair Programme steering meetings with senior client stakeholders. Creation of materials and representation of OS current delivery status
- Chair regular internal OS C-Level update meetings to report on status, risks and issues
- Escalation point for the client with relation to any OS delivery matters
- Escalation point for MLS and Implementation Project Managers
- Supporting the MLS Project Managers to oversee programme finances, risk, issues, resources and plans
- Maintenance and oversight of an overall OS, Partner and Client Programme Plan and associated dependencies

**Operating Environment**

Works with colleagues within the programme, such as project managers, business and executive sponsors, product owners, technical leads, service owners, training teams and business champions; and collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Competencies (Job specific)**
- Proven experience of managing complex IT Projects and Programmes to time cost and quality criteria
- Excellent track record of delivering IT Programmes in complex delivery environments and ability to demonstrate credibility with colleagues and senior stakeholders
- Effective leadership, interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively address all levels within organisations
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects, both software delivery and business change (embedding capability)
- Expected to operate with mínimal supervision

**Essential skills**:

- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Recognisable certifications and accreditations in Programme & Project Management; (e.g MSP, PMP, APMP, PRINCE2)
- Fluent English
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Microsoft Teams and SharePoint

**Desirable skills (but not essential)**:

- Experience of delivering Projects/Programme overseas.
- Experience of working in the Middle East
