One of the most energy efficient operators in the UK oilseed sector, producing sustainable, high quality animal feed and food grade vegetable oil is seeking a Graduate Mechanical/Process Engineer to join its rapidly expanding team at its state-of-the artplant just south of Stratford-upon Avon.
In this role you will work on operational improvements to existing assets, work on exciting projects and assignments to further develop the process plant and work on improving the performance of the biomass energy center. You will also be given the opportunityto gain management experience, working closely with the site maintenance manager, acting as a deputy during periods of annual leave and other business.
**As a Graduate Mechanical/Process Engineer your duties will include**:

- Assisting with the design and procurement of small - medium sized projects and upgrades to enhance the business performance across the oilseed processing plant and the CHP facility.
- Assisting with the development and reporting of KPIs for the business.
- Supporting the maintenance team with technical support and advice. Assisting maintenance manager with development of planned maintenance activities and day-day running of department. This will also include playing a leading role in the implementation ofa new CMMS system for the site.
- Assisting maintenance manager and engineers with optimisation of site spare parts and upkeep of accurate parts inventory.

**To be a successful a Graduate Mechanical/Process Engineer you will have the following skills and experience**:

- A graduate with an Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (BEng / MEng qualification), as the role will be multi-faceted encompassing a broad spectrum of tasks and assignments.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office and some experience using CAD would also be beneficial.
- Proactive approach to work and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure (e.g. during breakdown situations) and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ambition to develop broader skills and experience in project management and / or project engineering.
- You must be eligible to live and work in the UK without restriction.

This site generates heat and power for the process from UK forestry residues and off-cuts, and as such contributes to a greener and more sustainable environment for the UK.
In return, you will receive a salary of £26,000 - £30,000 per annum plus 33 days holiday (incl Bank Holidays) and a company pension scheme.
