**12 Month FTC**

**Key responsibilities**
- Proactively support HR and the business to improve performance and management awareness.
- Lead the recruitment activity with a focus on improving recruitment methods to achieve cost reduction goals.
- Ensure own skills and knowledge are kept up to date and take the responsibility for ensuring any learning’s are evaluated and revisited periodically as well as keeping up to date with employment case law.
- To drive employee engagement ensuring outcomes are linked to delivery targets and improved efficiencies.
- Provide ideas and recommendations on making improvements, savings costs where applicable.
- Support with short and long-term absence cases providing advice and recommendations.
- Actively participating in meetings and be a purposeful action taker in supporting strategic projects building relationships through visibility and availability.
- Attend and actively participate in UK HR meetings, sharing best practices you have implemented and forming excellent relationships with the UK HR Community.

**Key Skills**
- Must possess a minimum 2:1 (or equivalent) Business-related degree and hold a CIPD L7 or equivalent.
- Be passionate about HR and the people agenda
- Be self-aware and able to adapt your style to fit the situation / audience, this will require a great deal of emotional intelligence
- Have relevant practical generalist experience gained
- Hold a full UK Driver’s License and be able to travel. Occasional overnight stays will be required to meet business needs and to support other areas of the UK as and when required.
