**Head Housekeeper**

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our hardworking team at The Paddocks residential care home in Swaffham. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Flexibility to cover shifts due to sickness, annual leave, etc.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the housekeeping team, providing strong leadership and ensuring the highest service standards are achieved and maintained.
- Ensure all tasks are undertaken with full consideration for the comfort, security, and sensitivity of the residents.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety and COSHH legal requirements, ensuring staff are aware and compliant.
- Manage rotas and ensure correct team member levels are on shift at any time.
- Order all cleaning and consumable supplies for the home ensuring all purchases made are within budget.
- Provide hands-on support with housekeeping and laundry activities when required.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all colleagues, residents and, visitors to the home.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
