**Essentials**:
- Flexibility for daily shifts: 7:00am - 2pm and/or 4pm - 10pm with availability for shifts on an alternate weekend basis.

**Who are we looking for?** **Although we don’t require any prior healthcare experience, there are a few characteristics you will need to be a successful home care support worker.**
Ensuring our clients are cared for by the right people with the right values is our top priority. You will need to be kind, friendly, patient, respectful, committed, hardworking, have a can-do attitude and enjoy caring for others.
You might be a carer already, may have cared for a family member or friend previously, or just want the opportunity to make a real difference. Our 30 years of experience as a leading care provider has shown us that previous experience simply isn’t necessary to become a fantastic carer. We’ll give you all the tools and training you require to excel at what you do.
**You will need to be comfortable with**:
- Carrying out all aspects of personal care - help with getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing and help going to the toilet
- Assisting and administering medication - with appropriate training
- Any other daily tasks that may be required - such as light housekeeping, preparing meals and running errands such as shopping trips
- Monitoring clients’ health and wellbeing
- Working as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Carrying out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
