An exciting position has opened at The Walbrook Club for a dedicated and reliable **Server**/**Bartender**. The role allows for creativity and displaying leadership qualities. Usually Monday to Friday (but presently Monday to Thursday, breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks).

The Walbrook Club was established in 2000 and was designed by Mark Birley of the original Harry's Bar and Annabel's. It is ordinarily open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and throughout the day, from 7am until midnight, with a 1am late licence. The Club is located in the heart of the Square Mile.

**The role**
- Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate and warm manner
- Strong classic cocktail making knowledge
- Reliable time keeping and serious work ethic
- Cellar management and stock control
- Accurate order taking, accurate billing
- Knowledge of British and French cuisine and how to serve (i.e. silver service)
- Ensuring that stock is correctly rotated and stored, to maximise revenue and minimise wastage to include keeping detailed records.
- Orderly storage of bar deliveries ensuring that all goods are stored within HSE guidelines
- Ensuring that items in the Bar are displayed and ready for sale during opening times
- To tidy and undertake strict cleaning duties, to ensure that the entire bar, cellar and bar storage areas remain absolutely clean and tidy at all times and to maintain hygiene practices.
- Epos payment system; cashing up

**Requirement**
- WSET LEVEL 2
- Personal License Holder
- Cocktail knowledge
- Communicative skills are vital
- Eye for details
- Efficient service
- Good leadership skills and team player

**Remuneration dependent on experience. A trial and interview are required before progressing or discussing remuneration.**
