Roadhead Farm Feeds are a leading supplier of animal feedstuffs and nutritional products throughout Scotland and Northern England. Roadhead Farm Feeds are committed to supplying top quality feeding. As one of the few agricultural animal feed producers in the UK who also actively farm, we understand the challenges faced by farmers. Our computer automated blending plant ensures that every time you order with Roadhead you are ordering the exact formula and ingredients that you have done previously, whether that is your own tailor-made blend or one of our bestselling blends. We also have a full range of feed for Poultry units, as well as a comprehensive range of Calf Care products.

The Role - Customer Service Administrator

To effectively manage our custom built CRM system actively scheduling customer call backs processing sales orders to ensure seamless delivery while taking into account any production and transport issues as much as possible.

Key areas of importance

Customer Focus
- To deliver excellent service to customers by understanding their needs and challenges while always building rapport and providing a first class service
- Putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, keeping customer retention in mind at all times
- To professionally deal with any telephone enquiries from across the business and receive and process orders from all members of the Sales Team

Teamwork & Managing Relationships
- To be an active member of the Customer Services team, participating and encouraging others to participate in tasks and meetings, sharing information to improve team knowledge
- To consistently achieve personal targets and consistently assist team members to achieve team success
- To deliver good working relationships with all team members and take on additional responsibilities willingly
- To support and contribute as a member of the Customer Services and Sales Team

Commercial awareness
- To recognise and understand changes in the market and the farming industry
- To keep up to speed with developments and to be aware of current company offerings
- To actively be involved in sales campaigns to obtain repeat and potential new business and notify sales staff of any new potential leads
- To actively promote products and services as deemed necessary by the company
- To portray a positive company image at all times, be proud of the company and champion its achievements
