**Care Practitioner (Nights)** Plas Dyffryn Residential Home forms part of Ansa Care Concept. It is a progressive modern thinking family run organisation that provides Residential and Day Care following the principles of "Home Life", a Code of Practice for Residential Care, "Homes Are For Living”. We are urgently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Care Practitioners (Nights) to join are dynamic and hard working, friendly team. As a Care Practitioner working nights at Plas Dyfrynn, you will be required to undertake night duty 2 - 4 nights a week from the hours of 10pm to 8am at a small 16 bed care home. **Key Responsibilities**: Attend to all residents’ personal care throughout the night when needed. Monitor health and wellbeing of all residents. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents. Night duties also include an element of cleaning and vegetable preparation as well as laundry duties. **Qualifications**: Level 2 or 3 (NVQ or equivalent) in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential. We are now accepting unqualified applicants who are wanting to start a career in Health & Social Care. If unqualified, applicants must be willing to commence an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and complete within 12-18 months. Unqualified applicants are also required to do at least 1 x 6 - 8 hour month shift per week to assist with their training and development. Applicants will be required to register with Social Care Wales. **Skills and personal qualities**: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
