**Salary**:£38,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience

**What will my role look like?**

Are you already a Skilled Maintenance Engineer and at the top of your game in a fast-paced manufacturing environment looking for your next career opportunity? We are looking for a Site Maintenance Engineer to work as part of our highly skilled and well-establishedCoopland’s bakery team, in this role you will be responsible for ensuring our equipment and machinery is continuously operating smoothly and meets customer demands.

You are an essential asset to the bakery and your knowledge contributes towards the efficiency, development and progress of production which we pride ourselves on. You will develop strategies to improve the reliability and safety in the bakery. You willalso have a dedicated Maintenance Assistant and together you will conduct routine maintenance checks, organise and oversee repairs, improve production facilities and reduce the risk of breakdowns & commercial losses.

**Role Duties**:

- Carry out routine maintenance work and quality inspections
- Resolve equipment faults
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly
- Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components
- Control maintenance tools, stores and equipment
- Handle emergencies and be available to support with unexpected problems and repairs
- Work collaboratively with Bakery Management to improve on-site health & safety

- Fully qualified electrician
- Previous engineering experience within food production is essential
- Ability to prioritise and organize workload,
- Ability to set clear priorities and goals and delegate tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to build relationships, share best practice and communicate effectively with colleagues at other sites
- Proactive, innovative and co-operative approach to work
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours, offering out of hours support when required to minimize down time
