An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time CAD Technician to join our Westbury Garden rooms team in South Woodham Ferrers.

The company has been designing and building bespoke timber garden rooms and orangeries for over 30 years and has earned an impressive reputation for design, quality and innovation, transforming ordinary houses into extraordinary homes all over the UK andoverseas.

**Job summary**:
The role includes acting upon the Designers brief and survey notes, preparing designs, planning drawings and detailed working drawings before preparing each job for production.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working closely with the Sales Team/Designers to produce accurate working drawings based on the approved design.
- Preparing planning drawings for scheme proposals ready for submission to local authority.
- Preparing detailed workshop drawings and cutting lists on approval for our production team.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Quantifying and ordering materials
- Updating CRM system
- Liaising with tradesmen, suppliers and clients
- Other duties as required.

**Key Requirements**:

- Autocad proficient
- An understanding of Architecture, building and design
- Inventor experience would be beneficial but not essential
- The ability to prioritise workloads to meet company deadlines.
- Accurate, thorough and an eye for detail
