People Solutions are looking for Class 1 drivers for their clients based in the Worcester area
Monday to Sunday shifts available, both AM and PM starts
Ongoing work
Pay up to £20 pound per hour
Day to Day Duties
As a Class 1 Driver you will be delivering and collecting freight at different RDC's based across the UK
Prior to starting your shifts you will be reporting to transport manager to discuss run for the day
Making sure the relevant checks are done on the truck prior to starting the day
Ensure the paperwork is signed by the relevant people when delivering or collecting the goods
Making sure the cab is kept in a tidy fashion at the end of the shift
Essential Skills
Must have held your Class 1 entitlement for at least 2 years
Good communication skills
Must have Driver CPC, DQC card and Digi Tacho card.
No more than 6 points for minor endorsements (No DR, DGs)
Desirable Experience
Previous Class 1 work with trunking experience would be helpful to the client
Good knowledge of the UK road network
Good customer service experience
