**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Recruitment**:
- Management of vacancies on company website and internal advertisements
- Communication with applicants and agencies - arranging interviews, rejection letters and so on
**New Starters**:
- Liaise with Line Managers reference new employees, induction packs, access cards, IT etc
- Setting up biometrics on day 1
- Maintain a log of all new starter required documents and training and ensure up to date - chase outstanding documents regularly
- Support timetabling of departmental induction sessions for new starters
**Training**:
- Management and set up of relevant online training courses - H&S, HR modules and Export Controls
- Maintain log of compliance training
**Other**:
- Maintain absence records accurately in the time and attendance system, chase Managers where documents outstanding
- Confirmation of probation periods being passed
- Maintenance of Company digital noticeboard
- Uploading employees onto the health scheme following completion of their probation
- Support maintenance of compliant policies and procedures by issuing updates and maintaining confirmation logs
- Timetabling of Occupational Health screening programme, liaising with Managers to ensure smooth running of such appointments and ensuring appointment follow up as necessary
- Manage leaving process for any leavers
- Ad hoc letters - eg mortgage references and so on o Maintain personnel files
- Support any internal training/workshops with timetabling, communication and logistics
- Any other reasonable requests as requested by Management
**KNOWLEDGE & ABILITY REQUIRED**
- Strong administration experience - ideally within Human Resources o Confident verbal and written communicator able to interact with all levels of staff
- Highly organised - needs to be able to keep track of multiple pieces of work and be able to plan ahead and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Conscientious with a good attention to detail and able to handle highly confidential information
- Self-motivated - able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Pragmatic approach
- Confident in use of Microsoft, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Be able to obtain UK security clearance if necessary
