**Production Team Leader - Bedworth**

BMI UK&I have a permanent opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join the team.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role is based in Bedworth (Bayton Road Industrial Estate, Bedworth Plant, Exhall, Coventry CV7 9EJ)

**Role Summary**

Responsible for all Production activities production lines and preparation plant when on site (safety, quality, output and budgeted costs). This includes reporting KPIs, explaining performance to budget.

Pro-actively working with other Team Leaders and Maintenance to improve plant performance, train and develop staff and create shop floor responsibility and accountability for safety, quality, line performance and output.

As the Production Team Leader, your key responsibilities will be:

- Sets and maintains high standards for Health and Safety, Quality, housekeeping and output to plan
- Ensure work activities consistently meet quality, safety, cost and delivery specification
- To provide feedback to team members during the working shift on the things most likely to maintain and improve performance
- Actively encourage team members to freely report actual and potential variations in quality
- Contribute to identifying the training needs of teams and individuals
- Contribute to the performance reviews of team members
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Information about problems and opportunities is clear, accurate and provided with appropriate urgency
- Leads team meetings and organises break cover to ensure efficient, smooth, and continuous running to meet production plan priorities.
