**We require 20 x Warehouse Operative's for a brand new warehouse in Bedford**

Bedford

**37.5 hours a week + overtime available**

**Night Shift 22.00 to 6:00**

£13 per hour

G-Force Logistics are currently assisting a brand new and expanding organisation based in Bedford who specialise in fresh food delivery nationally.

As a warehouse operative you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.
This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency and with so much ground to cover in the line of duty it is importantto ensure that you have a moderate level of fitness to enable you to comfortably carry out your tasks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take delivery of goods and supplies
- Check for damaged or missing items
- Pick and pack and loading orders for dispatch
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
- Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards
- Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system
- Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
- Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Make recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
- Occasional night market visits in van may be required
Skills and Proficiencies
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Ability to work accurately and methodically
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of health and safety requirements
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Self-motivated - upbeat and energised
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
- Forklift license - ideal but not essential as training will be provided
- Fresh produce knowledge would be an advantage
- Full UK clean driving licences preferable but not essential
