You will be joining our EM Ceemea Desk Strats team, the team are working on automating the linear and non-linear parts of the business and ensuring its smooth operation. The challenges you will be exposed to as part of the team will be the modelling of EM specific rates, foreign exchange (FX) and credit products as well as the deployment of the full stack of automation therein, from ticking market data to risk in intraday cycles. The ecosystem backbone - the pricing library - is written in C++ while the gluing components are coded in python (pandas, jupyter, numpy, scipy). EM is an exciting area to be in, as it really encapsulates a Bank within Deutsche Bank and benefits from cross-asset exposure in a genuinely macro-landscape.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Supporting the business requests - in terms of both new products/models and automation
- Responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the franchise - in terms of daily production of accurate and timely risk and Profit and Loss (P&L) figures
- Working synergically with the rates and FX groups at large
- Responsible for dealing with multiple stakeholders, from traders to finance, from software developers to Market Risk

**Your skills and experience**
- In-depth knowledge of python programming language. C++ hugely beneficial
- Understanding of linear rates business & products; non-linear rates and other asset classes (like FX) a plus
