We are recruiting for an Associate Director of Provider Collaboration who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

This is a key senior leadership position presenting a new opportunity to lead the Trust’s role in, and co-ordinating its contribution to, provider collaboratives. The role will be pivotal in driving strategic change both within the Trust and with partner organisations, leading the planning, development and implementation of collaborative service redesign and solutions to complex issues. Leadership and management of a programme of complex projects designed to deliver change through collaboration and partnership is fundamental.

The postholder will be required to lead and co-ordinate effective partnership working across a range of external and internal stakeholders, leading on the strategic and operational development of clinical pathways and service models, operational models, impact assessments, risk assessments and mitigation plans, and project and implementation plans in relation to collaborative projects.

Leading the planning and development of relevant collaborative strategies and implementation plans.

The ability to engage, influence and negotiate with system partners and senior executive directors across the system is fundamental to the role, and the post holder will be a key senior representative at a range of partnership/collaborative meetings.

Undertaking detailed horizon scanning, analytical and assurance work to inform the scale, scope and nature of collaborative projects.

Providing effective support and guidance, in the form of policy overview, detailed information analysis, reports and options appraisals, to relevant Trust Committees on the development of provider collaboration programmes.

Managing multiple stakeholder relationships, priorities and deadlines for a range of short, medium and long term collaborative opportunities.

Leading and co-ordinating the development of clear clinical pathways, clinical governance models and operational models that underpin any collaborative project/service, ensuring full inclusion of relevant stakeholders.

Leading the monitoring and evaluation of collaboration, through leading detailed analysis (both quantitative and qualitative), and maintaining rigorous attention to the programme of work ensuring that it is planned for and governed effectively.

Enabling teams and individuals to identify collaboration opportunities, encouraging and empowering them to develop and implement service changes alongside other partner organisations.
