About the Role:
Established in 1990, **Gill Opticians** has proudly become **Leigh’s leading independent optical practice**, with a reputation for exceptional care, professional expertise, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.

We’re now looking for an **experienced Optical Assistant** to join our team — someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding eyecare and confident in supporting patients throughout their journey with us.

**What You’ll Do**:
- Provide friendly, informative, and empathetic service to all patients- Assist with dispensing, frame selection, and front-of-house duties- Work as part of a close-knit team focused on high standards and personal service- Contribute ideas to help us continually improve and innovate

**What We’re Looking For**:
**Previous optical experience is essential**- Excellent communication and people skills- A team player with a proactive attitude and a genuine interest in eyecare- Availability for **3-4 days per week**, including **Saturdays**
