**ABOUT **_**THE ROLE**_
- Reporting to the Bistro & Events Managers, the Supervisors duties will include:_
- Supervising staff and serving breakfast to hotel guests

Supervising staff and serving Afternoon Teas, and Bistro lunches

Responsibilities for making sure stock ordered to help facilitate Breakfast service

Greeting and seating the guests;
- Being knowledgeable about the Food & Drinks Menu, as well as about the weekly promotions, so to give recommendations and upselling to customers;
- Taking Food & Drink orders, inputting them in the till and liaising with the Kitchen when necessary (e.g. food allergies, dietary requirements);
- Preparing Drinks (e.g. pouring wine, beer, soft drinks and concocting signature cocktails);
- Brewing Teas & Coffees to a high standard;
- Serving Food, Drinks and Afternoon Teas;
- Handling Cash and Card transactions;
- Ensuring and Maintaining Hygiene & Cleanliness of the Premises at all times;
- Restocking the fridges, shelves, cellars as directed.

- Loves sharing their knowledge about local produces, history and folklore;
- Is fluent in at least one language other than English (preferred)’

As we are in Musselburgh, EH21 8PY, you must be able to reliably commute by means of own transportation (car, motorbike, scooter, bicycle) or relocate before starting work.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Waiting Staff / Front of House - 2 year (preferred)
- Customer Service in Customer Facing Role - 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending - 1 year (preferred)
