We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious Occupational Therapist or Registered Health Professional to join our team of Driving Advisers to conduct assessment of Fitness to Drive and passenger access assessments for people with health related changes to their ability to drive or travel as a passenger.

Assessment of Fitness to Drive is a dynamic and evolving field so demands a commitment to professional excellence, a proven record of professional development, as well as an ambition to develop your career within a specialist third sector organisation.

You will be an experienced and highly motivated Clinician registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or similar health regulatory body and hold a full UK driving licence.

You will have an ability to communicate effectively with service users, health professionals and major stakeholders including DVLA, Motability and the police, as well as having a passion for developing services in line with service user and stakeholder needs.

Based mainly in our North Wales and Chester Centres, you will be supported by an experienced team and will receive induction and ongoing training to develop the required skills for this specialist role. You will also be supported to achieve a mandatory qualification in _Driving Assessment and Outdoor Mobility _within the first 5 years of employment, all of which will be fully funded.

This is a permanent position for full or part time working depending on applicant preference. A fluency in the Welsh language is highly desirable.
