We are Paul James - a luxury, Leicestershire-based knitwear manufacturer. We strive to deliver the purest knitwear experience, which is why we shun man-made fibres, instead using only 100% natural fibre yarns in the production of our knitwear.

We trawl the globe in search of the most prestigious spinners to ensure every piece of Paul James knitwear is crafted from the most luxurious materials. We travel to Italy for extra-fine merino wool - then to Peru for a chunkier version - India and Egypt for premium cotton, South America for ultra warm, soft Alpaca and the British Isles for its famed wool and lambswool.

We take these yarns and knit them into stylish, functional garments that are made to last.

Please note to qualify for this role you must be available to work 2-3 Saturdays per month. There is scope to grow within our business if you have a keen interest in sustainable fashion, building brands and entrepreneurship.

Paul James Knitwear Limited is a growing b2b and b2c business. The company manufactures, wholesales and retails clothing under its own labels and to a broad range of white label and private label customers. The business operates from its factory in Leicester, UK as well as manufacturing apparel from its own factory in India.

This is a 360 role, you will be exposed to many activities and there are plenty of opportunities to grow within the business.

Current employees, after 12 months of experience in goods in, pick and pack have attained enough product knowledge to be able to assist our senior team members with business development, marketplace on boarding (Amazon etc), and wholesale.

**There is plenty of overtime available.**

**Core Activities**
- Processing, picking and packing online orders
- Warehouse - goods in and goods out procedures
- Stock management / Pricing / Stock Counts
- Liaising with customers and customer service
- Re-processing stock
- Processing customer returns, and reprocessing stock
- General Business Admin

**Non Essential Skills But Desirable for role progression**
- Good numeracy skills and willingness to learn Microsoft Excel
- Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign skills - this will be tested at interview
- Superb communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships both internally and externally;
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others where necessary;
- To demonstrate an ability to coach strong performance and to be coached

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £9.50-£10.50 per hour
