**Warehouse Team Leader**
An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our client in Livingston. Day to day you will be responsible for leading the team whilst also supporting with daily warehouse tasks. On offer is a basic salary of £28,000 on days and £35,000 based on 37.5 hours week. Additional premiums as follows:
- Weekend rate £18.43
- Overtime rate days £18.89
- Weekend overtime £23.05
- Overtime threshold kicks after 37.5 hours
**Working hours**:
Days - any 5 out of 7:
- 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm - depending on the requirements
**The main duties of a Warehouse Team Leader are**:
- Supporting the management team in the smooth and efficient way to run the warehouse
- Delegating and prioritising daily tasks
- Supporting staff with their daily work loads
- Taking responsibility for tasks and ensuring their completion
- Managing your own workload and carrying out general warehouse duties
- Leading by example as a 'go to person'
- Supporting the training and induction of new staff
- Providing ongoing support to underperforming staff to reach their targets
- Be an advocate for a quality work and onsite H&S
- Have a Supervisor/Team leader experience within a warehouse setting or at least to be a senior member of the team
- Have high work ethics and the willingness to lead by example
- Possess strong time management and delegation skills
