English Teacher

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an experienced English teacher to work with an Ofsted Graded ‘Good’ secondary school in North Yorkshire, to deliver targeted intervention sessions with KS3 and KS4 pupils.This fantastic opportunity is ideal forthose seeking part-time, flexible hours closer to home and to be part of the National Tutoring Programme.

**Role: ** KS3/4 Secondary English tutor

**Location**: Bedale, North Yorkshire

**Salary: **£25 - £35 per hour

**Start Date**: ASAP

**Roles and responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted English intervention for pupils in KS3/KS4
- Create resources and sessions to accommodate a range of learning abilities, with full support provided
- Monitor and review pupil progress in line with learning outcomes

**Essential Requirements:
- PGCE, QTS, or any previous experience working within a similar capacity, particularly across KS3 and KS4, is highly advantageous
- Level 2 safeguarding trained within the last 12 months, or complete the training with us, free of charge.
- Able to plan and deliver targeted sessions with enthusiasm and imagination
- _Child Workforce only DBS on the update service is desirable_
