Functional Skills Tutor

Job Role;
To deliver English & Maths (and GCSE where applicable) in line with student requirements, and pre-determined targets, to a caseload of learners. To ensure that all learners experience a high-quality learning programme in terms of content, structure and learning support. To deliver constantly good or better learning outcomes and progress by employing an effective variety of learning methods, skills development, coaching and mentoring with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities;
To manage the delivery of the training in line with the plan and in particular:
- Regularly and thoroughly review progress against all aspects of the plan with the learner and their manager
- Take prompt action where the learner falls behind
- Ensure that the learner is accessing and benefiting from delivery that you are not personally undertaking (for example, BKSB)
To ensure all reporting activity and administration reports are owned, managed and delivered on time
Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely
Including:
- Learners achieve the highest grade in English& Maths that they are capable of
Progress
- Individualised learning programmes, agreed with employer and learner based on initial assessments and starting points
**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
