Our Young Person Resilience Workers play an integral role within Change Grow Live, proactively engaging young people aged 25 and under in a range of interventions, using a young person-centred approach.

You’ll have to record information about what you do, so enjoying a bit of paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you’ll be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives. No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

**Hours**:37.5hrs per week

**Salary**: £26,393.77 - £30,316.74

**Responsibilities**:
**About the role**:

- Equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to make safer and informed decisions around drugs and alcohol
- Providing screening, assessment, psychosocial interventions, integrated care planning, post treatment support, including transfer of care
- Delivering training and group work, facilitating community events and outreach for Young Adults within the Tameside area
- Joint working with partner agencies, delivering training and groupwork, attending risk and safeguarding meetings and providing feedback

**About you**:

- Experience of working with young people and knowledge of the issues they face
- Knowledge of safeguarding concerns in relation to children and young people and the Fraser Competence and Gillick competence framework in relation to vulnerable adults, young people and their families
- Have experience of working within a multi-agency team
- Be a confident communicator who can initiate conversations with young people, young adults and other professionals
- Have experience of delivering group work and training/workshops or be willing to learn
