**Paralegal - Court of Protection **Anthony Gold, a London based firm is now looking to expand their Court of Protection team with the recruitment of a Paralegal. This is a great opportunity to work in a large Court of Protection team who are well established and pride themselves on the developmentof their paralegals. The role will be based in their London Bridge office.
**The Firm**
The firm has a national reputation and are a leading Legal 200 firm who pride themselves on providing a high level of client care. Recognising the importance of giving back to the communities in which they are based, they support local charities and provideadvice clinics.
**Job specification**
Your role will include the following, but additional tasks may be added as appropriate for the role:

- To assist in the provision of administrative and legal services for clients.
- To assist where requested the provision of legal advice to clients, under supervision. Take notes in client meetings.
- Attend clients at hospitals, care homes and in their home.
- Make regular payments to clients and keep accurate schedules of these payments. Also forecast forward spending and creating of budgets.
- Day to day contact with clients and their individual lifestyle requirements.
- Manage professionally and confidentially, written and telephone correspondence with clients, other solicitors and third parties.
- Delegate and supervise tasks where appropriate.
- Work as a part of a team under the supervision of a Partner of the firm,
- May also receive cases from several Partners and solicitors within the team,
- Provide an efficient and friendly service to their clients.
- Maintain client care standards as set out in the firm’s terms of business and office manual.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Law and/or previous experience of working in a Court of Protection role or Claimant Personal Injury role.

- Good Microsoft skills particularly word and excel.
- Good customer focus
- Flexible and proactive approach with 'can do' attitude
- Works well under pressure
- Organised and able to prioritise
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with figures
