Cafe Assistant

We are looking for an assistant to join our friendly team in a busy cafe in Evington, Leicester. Due to re-open August 7th after a refurb.

General catering experience an advantage, as the role is mainly in the kitchen, but training on our menus will be given, as will training on drinks and front of house.

Hours are 9am - 3pm and will be 2 days worked between Monday and Saturday (weekly rota with all staff)

Free food and drinks when on duty.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and serve food and drinks to customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness to a high standard, including the dining area and kitchen.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations or willing to take an online Food Safety short course.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and able to cover other days when required.
