**The Role**

We are looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant to join our friendly Finance Team at Nine Mile Water Business Park near Stockbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across 14 trading subsidiaries and to develop your career within a supportive and growing organisation.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations, helping us maintain our commitment to excellence in both NHS and private dental services.

**Key Responsibilities**

Accounts Payable & Supplier Management
- Process supplier invoices in Xero via Hubdoc.
- Send invoices for approval in ApprovalMax.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve supplier queries.

Banking & Reconciliations
- Complete bank reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve bank reconciliation queries.

Employee & Team Support
- Administer employee & business card expenses.

General Finance Support
- Post NHS sales invoices.
- Support ad hoc finance tasks.
- Assist the wider finance team as needed.

**What We’re Looking For**

Essential
- Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant or in Accounts Payable.
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Teams.
- Team player with good problem-solving skills.

Desirable
- Experience using Xero, Hubdoc, and ApprovalMax.
- AAT (or similar) qualifications, or willingness to study.
