We want our Sales Director’s to understand the vertical industry in which they operate, and to connect, grow, and create with our clients, driving transformational relationships that meet the stated business outcomes of the customer and NTT.

The FSI Sales Director is responsible for driving outstanding sales performance within assigned vertical client responsibilities. This role is a combination of sales strategy and planning, selling, opportunity leadership, driving internal collaboration, rigorous sales coordination, sales operations activities and enabling the NTT sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.

**Working at NTT**

The primary objective of Sales Management is to take responsibility for managing a team of client managers in order to assist in the achievement of sales targets through the allocation of targets resulting in outstanding sales performance. Their role is a combination of management, selling, coaching, and leadership activities, with the objective of enabling their sales team to meet the sales targets assigned to them.

**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Works with the regional Sales Leadership to deliver the strategic objectives as outlined in the global and regional organisational strategy.
- Define the way the FSI vertical sales team will approach the market, drive lead generation, deal closure and quota attainment leveraging modern, digital techniques, automation, and analytics
- Shape and implement sales procedures.
- Drive the alignment to the sales and organisational strategies by creating opportunity plans and identifying areas for continuous improvement in sales productivity.
- Responsible for operational management of the team which, creating and executing on account plans and reporting on the team activities in the required forums.
- Engages with vendors and partners to create go-to-market strategies with their sales teams.
- Take final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales tools/systems and sales reports.

**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes**:

- Experience in sales management and effective usage of CRM tools, social selling tools, marketing platforms, social media for market research and surveys, contextualisation of prospect data, marketing campaigns, multi-channel comms planning and usage of remote channels to drive strong pipeline and high conversion rates
- Sales solution skills - ability to link NTT Ltd offerings to specific client and prospect needs and outcomes and translate into commercial propositions.

**Required Experience**:

- Solid experience leading a modern FSI vertical sales team
- Good experience dealing with clients and engaging to influence sales
- Good strategic and operational sales planning and management experience
- Achieve assigned FSI vertical business unit GP on an annual basis.
- Understands and utilizes sales planning and methodologies to identify market, vertical and company opportunities for NTT solutions and services.
- Map and target personas and individuals to engage with insights.
- Understand and articulate the alignment of specific client business and transformational goals to NTT solutions and services.
- Manage multi-tiered engagements in a complex environment both internally and externally.
- Continually assess the client and market landscape and adapt accordingly.
- Drive engagement with focus and momentum
- Works with the UK&I Sales Director and other decision makers to own and drive the development of a sales strategy that will deliver the strategic objectives as outlined in the global and regional organisational strategy.
- Define the way sales, supported by the business, will approach the FSI vertical market/client and determine the business opportunities that will achieve agreed targets.
- Drive the alignment to the sales and organisational strategies by creating a FSI sales strategy/business plan to achieve agreed targets, identify areas for continuous improvement in the sales process and drive multi-year growth.
