This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking team at **Wyndham House** residential care home in Kings Lynn, our care team really do care about our residents and are dedicated and warm-hearted. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training is given, but a caring, compassionate and warm approach is essential. Wyndham House is a beautiful old manor house set in the Norfolk countryside in the small village of North Wootton just outside the ancient market town of Kings Lynn. Wyndham House Care Home provides 24-hour personalised care for up to 41 residents, offering a high standard of quality dementia care. The home offers the flexibility of respite care, short breaks and permanent care.

**The Role**:
Care Assistants play a crucial role in the lives of our residents and their families and are the most vital members of our team. We expect our Care Assistants to interact with our residents in a relationship-centred manner, promoting their dignity, independence, well-being, and becoming an integral part of the lives. _**Key responsibilities include**:_
- Assisting residents with their daily personal care including but not limited to, bathing, dressing and undressing, general hygiene.
- Our Care Assistants are supporting a wide range of residents with specific needs e.g., Alzheimer’s, dementia, epilepsy, deaf/ blind etc.
- Assisting the residents with physical disabilities in using personal aids and equipment as required.
- Ensuring residents safety is always the priority.
- Record accurately in care plans maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Our Care Assistants promote mental and physical wellbeing of the residents by engaging with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations and having a friendly chat.
- Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, residents, and visitors - working together for the benefit of everyone.

Every Care Assistant will receive a full induction on commencement of employment ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and has a good understanding of their role and our high standards and ethos of the business.

Throughout your time with us we positively encourage further training through **National Vocational Qualifications**. This is available throughout all areas of our business to include all employees.

If you don’t have any experience, we will support and train you to promote your understanding of a Care Assistants role in clinical issues and to develop your own career pathway, ensuring that you feel confident in all aspects of the role.

**Salary**: £10.90-£11.15 per hour
